Privacy Policy.
Morpheus Technologies Limited ("Morpheus", "we", "us") operates the website at morpheusgh.co. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
We have written this policy to be short, plain, and honest. If anything is unclear, write to us at support@morpheusgh.co.
The Morpheus website is a marketing site. It does not require you to create an account, sign in, or fill in forms. Most visitors browse our pages and leave with very little information passing between us.
The information we may receive falls into three categories.
Information you choose to send us. When you click any of the email links on our Contact page or elsewhere on the site, your email client opens a new message addressed to one of our inboxes. If you choose to send the email, we receive whatever information you include: your name, your email address, and the contents of your message. We only receive this if you actively send the email.
Limited technical information. When your browser loads our website, our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) automatically receives basic information needed to serve the page, including your IP address, browser type, and the page you requested. This is standard for any website on the internet.
Analytics information, if you consent. If you consent to analytics cookies on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. This includes your approximate location (typically the country and city level), the pages you visit on our site, the website that referred you to us, the type of device you are using, and the time you spent on our pages. We use this to make the site better. If you do not consent, no analytics data is collected.
We do not collect anything else. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Our website uses two categories of cookies:
Essential cookies are required for the site to function. They do not track you, do not identify you personally, and are not used for analytics or advertising. These are set automatically and cannot be disabled while still using the site.
Analytics cookies are set only if you give consent through our cookie banner. These are placed by Google Analytics to help us understand how the site is used.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your cookies in your browser, which will trigger the banner to reappear on your next visit. You can also disable cookies entirely through your browser settings; the site will continue to function with essential cookies disabled, though some features may be limited.
For detail on the specific cookies we use, see our Cookie Policy.
If you contact us by email, we use your message to respond to you. We may keep the email in our inbox for record-keeping, and may reference it in future correspondence with you about the same topic.
We do not add you to mailing lists. We do not pass your email to other companies. We do not use the contents of your message for marketing.
If you consent to analytics, we use the resulting data to understand which pages of our site are useful, how visitors arrive, and where they spend time. This helps us improve the site over time. We do not use analytics data to identify individual visitors, build user profiles, or target advertising.
Google Analytics processes this data on its own infrastructure and is bound by Google's own privacy practices. Where required, we have an appropriate data processing agreement in place with Google.
Email correspondence is retained in our inboxes for as long as it is operationally relevant, generally up to seven years for business records.
Google Analytics data is retained for fourteen months by default, after which it is automatically deleted by Google. We have configured this retention setting to the shortest period reasonably useful.
You may ask us to delete any email correspondence we hold from or about you at any time.
If you are based in Ghana, the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) gives you the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete information we hold about you.
- Object to how we use your information.
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at support@morpheusgh.co. We will respond within thirty days.
If you are based in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comparable data protection laws, you have substantially similar rights, and may exercise them through the same channel.
Our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services, which operates servers globally. When you visit our site, your request may be served from a data centre outside Ghana.
Google Analytics, if you have consented to its use, processes data on Google's infrastructure, which includes servers in the United States and other regions outside Ghana. By consenting to analytics cookies, you also consent to this cross-border processing.
We work with senior partners based in India, Europe, and the United States; however, no information from this website is shared with them as part of our marketing operations.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, note the change on the website.
